Puppies

Puppies are without a doubt some of the most adorable things on the planet. Parenting a puppy is no walk in the park. If you leave your puppy alone for more than a few hours, you should expect some potty accidents. If you have to do this on a regular basis you may fail at potty training. To prevent this, you should consider asking someone to come in to let your puppy out. Until your puppy has had ALL of her/his vaccinations, you want to find a place outdoors that’s inaccessible to other animals. Working a nine to five job doesn't give you the flexibility to let your puppy out on a regular basis. This is where Freedom Pet Sitting Services comes into place. Perhaps you might need late morning and early evening help.

Puppy Visit – 30 minutes ($20 per visit)
Extended Visits – ($8.00 per 15 minutes)
If your pet needs special attention, has had recent surgery or you have other special requests this may be an option for you.

Daily Dog Walks – (Dogs under 40 pounds) ($10.00 per 15 minutes)
This is an additional service that can be added to basic visits only. Dogs must be leash trained and friendly. They must also be spayed or neutered.

Updates
While you are away from your pet or pets, Freedom Pet Sitting Services can keep you updated. We can send you an e-mail or text message along with a photo of your pet or pets. You can have this service on a daily basis if you are on vacation.

Emergencies
In the event that your pet should need medical attention, I require your veterinarian’s name, address and phone number. I will also require you to notify your veterinarian that Freedom Pet Sitting Services will be caring for your pet while you are out of town. You will need to leave a credit card on file with them. Transportation fees of $1.50 per mile will apply.

Keys
For security purposes, I provide a key filing service. Your keys will be placed in a lock box at Freedom Pet Sitting Services’ office. I will need two keys. One will be used for the sitting service. The second one will be used as backup in the event the key is locked in your house or lost. The keys will be labeled with a number. Your name and address will not be on the keys. If you have a security alarm I will need that code or you can choose to leave the alarm off while you are away. If you do not have 2 keys available I can have a duplicate made for a $5.00 fee.

Service Hours
Freedom Pet Sitting Services is available to you from 7 am. till 7 pm. I schedule appointments every hour. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to obtain a refund. If your trip is canceled entirely a $20.00 fee will be applied for notice less than 7 days. This gives me enough time to schedule another appointment or move someone that may have wanted that time originally.

Service Area
Covington - Mandeville - Madisonville - Abita Springs. It will be Freedom Pet Sitting Services discretion as to what areas we will service & services may be available outside of this area if our schedule permits.

Holidays
There will be a 50% surcharge for holiday weeks including: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, New Years, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day and Fat Tuesday.

Payment
Payment and the two keys are due at the consultation appointment. For your convenience, Freedom Pet Sitting Services accepts cash, check, or PayPal.
